Treasures Maya, S.A. is a quality handicrafts produced by women of founded in 2000, Guatemala Comercializadora result of a foundation FAFIDESS initiative with funds from the Spanish cooperation. The treasures Maya objective is to a commercial outlet to the artisans of the Highlands of Guatemala, craft products ensuring the quality of products offered to clients

Mayan treasures by their trading, work calls for social responsibility of the company investing its efforts to develop the productive base through strict controls quality raw materials and products already completed, supported with skills and new designs of chord to the market.

 Leader in the marketing of handicrafts from high quality, the national and international market financially consolidated providing services with efficiency and opportunity to contribute to the improvement of socio-economic conditions of the artisans of Guatemala.

Mission

Contribute to the economic and social development in Guatemala through of the provision of services technical assistance, training and marketing of rural area of the country artisanal sector.
 

Accomplishments achieved by Mayan treasures:

1. Company Finalist Prize José Castillo best exporter of the year 2003 for the category of Central America, organized by AGEXPORT, being the only company in handicrafts finalist in the event.  

2.  The first place in the Latin American event sponsored by Exchange in the category of the "creative business for services sustainable" in Arequipa Peru, award winners April 2002.

3.  National winners of the playoff Central America of the Latin event American promoted by Exchange in the category of award to the "creative business for services sustainable" in Panama, March 2002.

4. Particpacion at the American hand held in October 2008 fair trial.

 Maya treasures is positioned in the domestic market as a high-quality textile craft products company and distribute their products, as well as large surfaces as hyper PAIZ, CEMACO and SIMAN in Guatemala. 5-Star as large companies in Guatemala, hotel real InterContinental Hotels entrusted their promotional enterprise treasures Maya.  

Currently, treasures Maya has a printed catalog aimed at customers distributors, as well as the same version in electronic publishing and a catalogue destined for the final client.
